VOLUME 62 ISSUE 37 SEPTEMBER 16, 2025 P101 teammate, Franco Morbidelli. With the podium places all but decided from lap seven, there were impressive recoveries else- where. Pedro Acosta (Red Bull KTM) cut through the field for a fine fifth and held off Fermin Aldeguer (Gresini Ducati) just behind, who was also charging through from ninth on lap four. Luca Marini (HRC Castrol) and Jorge Martin (Aprilia Rac - ing) were just behind. And there was no sign of Pecco Bagnaia (Lenovo Ducati), who could once claim this circuit as his own. The Italian was a shell of his former self as he wobbled around to 14th, admitting he was "living a nightmare" after. 72 MARCO BEZZECCHI 1ST/2ND MOTOGP "It was wonderful. I'm happy because I gave it absolutely everything," said Bezzecchi after Sunday's race. "Of course, I'm disappointed because I wanted to win—I really wanted it with all my heart. We had incredible pace, and being able to keep that speed right to the end was amazing." MYOWNRACE Marco Bezzecchi (72) leads the way, but a tiny mistake going into the long left of turn six was all Marc Marquez (behind) needed to take the Sprint lead on lap seven. Didn't matter, though, as Marquez crashed half a lap later. Bezzecchi (72) made the early running on Sunday, but once Marquez (93) slid past, it was a yo-yo of a race that Bezzecchi could never recover from. Alex Marquez (73) had a lonely ride to third.
