pointed seventh.
The Aussie, still sore from a
crash while racing in the Aus-
tralian Superbike Championship
between
MotoAmerica duties,
bounced back in style in race
two. A 1.4-second win over
teammate Baz was a fine way
to end his time with the number-
one plate, as Smith inherited
third after Wyman lobbed the
factory Harley onto the ground
when he ran up the inside curb
while attacking Herfoss at
the fast turn 18, walking away
unhurt.
Petersen and Rispoli complet
-
ed the race-two top five.
