pressure from Tomac in second.
Things got close at the end, but
Jett kept it under control and
took the race win, going 4-1 for
second on the night. He main

tains his points lead going into
the season finale
next week.
"In the sand section, there
was a lapper on the inside," Jett
said after the second moto. "And
there was another lapper there
[outside], and he was cruising.
So, I got screwed in that. The
two seconds I had [over Tomac]
shrunk quickly. And then that
last, like, lap or two, was hectic.
I was gassing it, I was sliding
out in certain spots, and it was
a wild last two laps. But we're
happy to turn it around; I definite
-
ly wasn't going to suck on the
start
like I did the first one."
Tomac grabbed a spot on
the box in both motos and was
credited third overall, despite
47 LEVI KITCHEN
10TH (5-12) 250SMX
Levi Kitchen salvaged a top 10 after
crashing on the opening lap of the
second moto. "I didn't get the best
start but worked my way up to fifth. In
the second moto, I got a great start
but came together with Haiden and
went down. I feel like I'm improving
every weekend. My speed is good, so
we'll head into Vegas ready to send it
and see what we can do."
24 RJ HAMPSHIRE
6TH (7-6) 450SMX
RJ Hampshire battled his way to sixth
and narrowly missed out on a top five
in both motos. "I had good speed in
moto one, but just a couple of mis-
takes cost me a bit, but I felt good for
it being my first kind of Supercross-
type race on the 450. I was stoked on
how everything felt, and I know that
we'll continue to make progress. Sec-
ond moto, again not a great start, but
on a track that was hard to pass, it's
decent that we're leaving here with a
sixth place."
