Hollow Point Hard Enduro Delivers

he inaugural Hollow Point
Hard Enduro brought a new
level of intensity to the AMA
East Hard Enduro Series, pre-
sented by IRC Tire, as round
six unfolded in Wellsville, Ohio,
September 13-14. Known for its
steep hills and unforgiving rock
gardens, the area has long been
a training ground for extreme
riders.
In dry and dusty conditions, 84
amateur riders tackled the Satur-
day course, while 60 Pro and A-
class riders lined up on Sunday's
13.5-mile racecourse filled with
hills, creeks and boulder-strewn
climbs.
Saturday's amateur saw race
leader Davin Shike complete a
lap in just 59 minutes—far faster
than expected. The decision was
made to extend the race from
two laps to three, and Shike rose
to the occasion, completing the
distance in three hours and 11
minutes. He crossed the line a
commanding 18 minutes ahead
of runner-up Gage Hill, with Jose
Julian Hernandez Rios securing
third.

Pro Women's win, completing a

came from behind
to win the Hollow
Point Hard Enduro
in Ohio.
