Two laps later, Rueda surged
into the lead for the first time, as
Quiles ran wide and tumbled out
of podium contention.
With four laps to go, Rueda
led a tightly bunched pack of
10 riders. Almansa, Piqueras,
Adrian Fernandez (Leopard Rac

ing) and Furusato all threatened,
while
Ryusei Yamanaka (Frinsa
- MT Helmets - MSI) charged
through from the back into sixth.
The final lap saw Piqueras
strike at turn one to seize the
lead, with Rueda dropping to
fourth. A last-corner lunge from
Rueda secured second from
Furusato, but Piqueras held firm
for his first win since Mugello.

Taiyo Furusato (Honda Team

third, the top 10 separated by
just 1.2 seconds at the flag.
