VOLUME 62 ISSUE 35 SEPTEMBER 3, 2025 P89 out as well, getting bumped down to fourth by G&G Racing Ya- maha's James Ott, Turner Racing Honda's Trent Lowe and Carver. Main-event two threw a curve- ball, however, as an inspired Bau- man somehow managed to finish second, just 0.038 of a second behind the in-form Lowe aboard a fleet Honda Transalp, and directly ahead of three Yamahas—none of them Daniels'—OTBR's Declan Bender, Ott and Price. Challenge format (three main events, increasing in length and importance to determine the overall results). The first 10-lap sprint went as feared for Bauman, who was consistently brilliant in the corners but overmatched on the straights. Although he finished less than a second behind the winner, he was shuffled down to seventh at the finish. Fortunately, for him, Daniels lost potential both days on the Happy Trails Racing Kawasaki Ninja 650 and brought the crowd to its feet with his heat race and Mission #2Fast- 2Tasty wins. On Sunday, he said, "It was great. Yesterday, we were fastest, and it was our second time ever on the bike, so we didn't change a bunch. And then today, we went to the drawing board, made some moves. I just felt more comfortable getting some time on the bike. I felt like I put myself in a good position, won the dash, and I was playing the game in the main. I was kind of work- ing the younger guys. I was smart, and I felt like I was in a great position, but we got hit with a little bit of an electrical issue that pulled me out." 92 BRANDON PRICE 2ND (5-3-2)/3RD SUPERTWINS HRP Racing's Brandon Price made a surprise return to action after an- nouncing his retirement from racing earlier this season. He didn't miss a beat in his comeback, scooping up yet another runner-up result on Saturday and then backing it up with another po- dium on Sunday. Following Sunday's third, he said, "Man, it feels great. I had to work for that one. I started way in the back and was just steady in picking them off one by one. I just locked in and really charged forward. I had a great bike underneath me. Nick Henderson built a fantastic motor, and I really made it shine out there. I feel like we just needed a few more laps. I was just starting to get my mojo late in the race. But you know, third place is not bad, and I'll take it." MYOWNRACE
