ROUND 14 / AUGUST 22-24, 2025
BALATON PARK / BALATONFOKAJAR, HUNGARY
ROAD RACE I FIM MOTOGP WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
P86
42 ALEX RINS
16TH/13TH MOTOGP
"I have a question for our engineers:
why can we set low- to mid-1:38 laps
in the middle of the race, yet we're
unable to do so with fresh tires and
a full tank at the start?" Rins said.
"We feel quite lost in this area. I was
frustrated because in the first nine
laps I couldn't stay with [Ai] Ogura
or [Johann] Zarco, but that's nothing
new—we faced the same kind of prob-
lems today as in the last few races."
88 MIGUEL OLIVEIRA
14TH/12TH MOTOGP
"My race was quite decent, good
pace, constant; I just made a mistake
in the second last lap, trying to push,"
Oliveira said. "I made the mistake at
turn five. The bike behaved as ex-
pected—we knew it was going to be a
long and hard race for us. I did man-
age some overtakes, and, for sure,
I did the best pace I could. I think it
was a good weekend."

Sprint Race
Marc Marquez (Ducati Lenovo
Team) made the perfect launch
from pole to lead into turn one,
but drama erupted immediately.
Fabio Quartararo (Monster En-
ergy Yamaha MotoGP), starting
from
sixth, braked too late on the
inside and clattered into Enea
Bastianini (Red Bull KTM Tech3).
Bastianini stayed upright but
dropped to 18th, while Quartara-
ro crashed out. Marco Bezzecchi
(Aprilia Racing) was
also de-
layed, falling outside the top 10.
More chaos
followed at turn
nine. Bastianini, trying an ag-
gressive move on Johann Zarco
(Castrol
Honda LCR), instead
took both riders out, ending their
Sprint before it had truly begun.
