450MX Even after sealing the deal on his second 450MX Cham- pionship a week earlier, Jett Lawrence wasn't done yet. The newly crowned two-time champ made his presence known with a dominant win in the first moto. He fought with SMX points lead- er Justin Cooper for the opening half lap but quickly pulled away in typical Jett fashion. Lawrence managed the race from the front and secured his 44th moto win to start the day. He later backed it up with a safe second place in moto two when he "goon rode" for nearly the entire final lap, while his brother, Hunter, rode off with the unchallenged vic - tory. Jett proved who the man to beat is and finished the season with yet another overall win. My starts weren't the greatest today, but I found my way inside the top 10 in both races, and overall, I'm happy to finish up the outdoors with this result."
