The Pacific Coast Regional Championship
had a couple of big names starting on
the front row of the Sturgis Half Mile in
1976. Randy Mamola, on the number-127
Yamaha, took the win over Eddie Lawson
on the number-111 Bultaco, and Dan Hogue
on the number-119 Yamaha (second row).
