ROUND 9 / AUGUST 9, 2025 IRONMAN RACEWAY | CRAWFORDSVILLE, INDIANA MOTOCROSS I AMA PRO MOTOCROSS / SUPERMOTOCROSS WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP P66 had a good start and saw his lines and tried to follow, but I just need to be better." Tom Vialle had a quiet but consistent day for third overall. After skipping the Washougal round due to an injured arm and elbow, the former MX2 champ returned to action after the break. Vialle won here back in 2024 and looked refreshed as he battled for most of moto one with Garrett Marchbanks. Vialle held onto the spot down to the wire and proceeded to back it up again with another third in moto two. This marks a strong return for this year's 250SX East Supercross champ and should see him close out the season on a high note. "It was good to be back," Washougal winner once again showed early sprint speed as he grabbed the holeshot in moto one and led all but the final five laps. He eventually succumbed to Deegan's pressure late in the race but still held on for the runner-up spot. Shimoda put himself back up front in moto two but always seemed to be just outside of striking distance from the leader, Deegan. He crossed the line second for another overall podium. "My starts have been great, and that's been helping me a lot," Shimoda said. "Now I'm getting good starts and trying to fight up there, but I feel like I need a little bit more speed. [Deegan] was just riding too good. I had nothing for him. I the day, as Deegan led every lap of the second moto and swept the day with 1-1 results. Another dominant day keeps him firmly at the top of the championship points standings. "I feel like today was a really big pressure day," Deegan said. "I just signed my 450 deal, just got announced for Team USA, and we're racing here, so I wanted to go 1-1 today. Put all the distrac - tions aside, and it's time to go 1-1. I was able to do that, but the track was pretty gnarly. I really had to move around the track to find my lines. That first moto took me a while, and about half - way, I was able to find that flow." Shimoda finished second overall with a consistent pair of second-place finishes. The Jo Shimoda put up a good fight en route to second overall in the 250MX class.
