Shane was up to third. KTM's

Christian Merman slipped past
Shane on lap four, dropping
the Husqvarna rider to fourth.
Shane remained on the move
and moved back into third place
as Merman worked his way into
the lead. Franklin Bowsher and
Wyatt Thurman both passed
Shane on lap eight, but Shane's
1-1-4 was good enough to claim
the championship.
KTM's Austin Schafer (2-3-
7) and Bowsher (4-5-5) were
second and third overall in the
championship, respectively.
"That third 450 Limited moto
was the hardest race of my
life," said Shane. "I was feel
