"I spun off the gate," said Denno. "The gates are brand new right now, so I spun, but I came back and I hit a hole and it kicked sideways and spun. I was charging hard to catch the front guys, and I did. It was a great ride all the way back to second, so I'm pumped on that; it saved my championship." Denno also won the Oakley Fastest Lap of the Week Award. In the 250 B Limited class, Altus bLU cRU's McKayden Fitch won the championship with 4-1- 1 moto finishes. Fellow Yamaha rider Wyatt Duff turned in a score of 11-5-3 for second in the AMA title chase, while another Yamaha team rider, Franklin stitched up, but we got it done, so I'm pleased with how the week turned out." Kawasaki teammate Landen Gordon won the shortened sec - ond moto, while Altus Yamaha's Kade Johnson was third.
