problem on the first turn. Four cor-
ners later, Beach was up the inside
of
Uribe and held the advantage
to the flag to finish a tiny 0.055 of
a second ahead of Uribe, with Lee
0.548 of a second back in third.
Kornbau was promoted to
fourth, but Yates got the Honda go-
ing again to take fifth at the finish.
With two
rounds to go, Lee holds
the points lead on 122 to Beach's
112. Uribe needs luck to go his way
if he's to factor in the title race, as
he's third on 94 points.
fourth and fifth, respectively.
Race two was even closer as
Uribe and Lee both went on the
attack, the lead group four riders
strong as Yates joined in the
fun. On the final lap, it was Uribe
holding sway over Beach, but
Yates was out of the fight after
his Honda suffered a mechanical
prising Emanuel Nicolas Aguilar
(Corrientes Racing Team/MPR
Motorsport Kawasaki) and two
wins from two starts.
Race one saw Beach engage
in hand-to-hand combat with
Bryce Kornbau (BPR Racing
Yamaha), with Ashton Yates
(Jones Honda) keeping a watch
-
ing brief in third and 1.4 sec-
onds behind at the finish.
