You never know what's going to happen." His words rang ever true for both Josh Herrin and Bobby Fong. For Herrin, he saw a 31-point series lead heading into VIR wiped out with a first-turn crash on lap three of race two, while Fong now has the best chance of his career to clinch a MotoAmerica Super - bike title after two dominant wins means he's only five points off the series lead. Fong was in devastating form as the series made a welcome return to VIR for the first time since 2022, the classic 2.25- mile venue suiting his Attack Performance Progressive Yamaha Racing YZF-R1M to a tee as he grabbed pole by 0.291 of a second ahead of a determined Sean Dylan Kelly (Vi - sion Wheel M4 Ecstar Suzuki) and five-time MotoAmerica Superbike Champion Cameron Beaubier (Tytlers Cycle Racing BMW). >
