JULY 29-AUGUST 2, 2025 LORETTA LYNN'S RANCH / HURRICANE MILLS, TENNESSEE MOTOCROSS I AMA AMATEUR NATIONAL MOTOCROSS CHAMPIONSHIP P88 1-1-1 in the 85cc (10-12) division. Gieck got a poor start in the final 85cc (10-12) moto but fought his way to the front to get the clean sweep for the weekend. Husqvarna's Landon Lee was second in both championships, while KTM's Whalyn Ballenger was third in the 85cc (10-12) divi - sion, and fellow KTM rider Eidan Steinbrecher was third in the Limited division. "The clean sweep feels good," said Gieck. "My trainer and I have been working super hard. I haven't honestly been riding the best this year. So, it kind of lit something inside of me, and I just decided to work as hard as I could, and it got me up here, so I'm super stoked." Gregory Pamart claimed the were fighting with Brown for the lead, trading positions every few laps. At the finish, Brown took the win over Pine and Martin. In the end, Pine's 2-1-2 proved good enough to claim the champion - ship ahead of Martin's 1-2-3 and Brown's 3-5-1. "My start was trash again in that last moto," said Pine. "But my first laps were good, and I caught up with the leaders, and then I stayed right there. I don't know what happened to Brown, but it was a great race to get this championship all buttoned up." The Youth Rider of the Year Award went to KTM's Sawyer Gieck, who dominated the 85cc (10-12) Limited division with 1-1-1 scores, as well as going hurting badly, but I got it done. I finished on the podium every time other than that fourth, but I'm just so glad I was able to get this done, so grateful." One of the most exciting races of the week was the Supermini 1 (12-15) race, which came down to two title contend - ers—JM Racing GasGas' Darren Pine and Roost MX GasGas' Colt Martin, each with a first and a second, setting up the show- down in the third moto. Both got poor starts, as Husqvarna's Drew Marson and VIP Academy KTM's Brecken Maas led the way. JM Racing KTM's Gauge Brown was soon mixing it up with the front-runners. On lap three, Martin and Pine Tayce Morgan battled Maddox Temmerman for both of the Mini Sr titles.
