VOLUME ISSUE AUGUST , P83 The nation's best amateur riders storm the first turn at Loretta Lynn's Ranch for the 44th annual Monster Energy AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship. that conditioning is a major fac- tor at the Ranch. And the racers with the best conditioning and excep - tional talent have their chance to shine, as the race draws team managers and agents from every top motocross team in America, all watching for future stars. In addition, one of the high- est honors in motocross racing waits for the best of the best: the Nicky Hayden AMA Motocross Horizon Award. This year, the award went to Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki's Enzo Temmerman, who went 1-2-1 in the Open Pro Sport class and 1-1-1 in the 250 Pro Sport class.
