Four cor- ners later, Beach was up the inside of Uribe and held the advantage to the flag to finish a tiny 0.055 of a second ahead of Uribe, with Lee 0.548 of a second back in third. Kornbau was promoted to fourth, but Yates got the Honda go- ing again to take fifth at the finish. With two rounds to go, Lee holds the points lead on 122 to Beach's 112. Uribe needs luck to go his way if he's to factor in the title race, as he's third on 94 points. fourth and fifth, respectively. Race two was even closer as Uribe and Lee both went on the attack, the lead group four riders strong as Yates joined in the fun. On the final lap, it was Uribe holding sway over Beach, but Yates was out of the fight after his Honda suffered a mechanical prising Emanuel Nicolas Aguilar (Corrientes Racing Team/MPR Motorsport Kawasaki) and two wins from two starts. Race one saw Beach engage in hand-to-hand combat with Bryce Kornbau (BPR Racing Yamaha), with Ashton Yates (Jones Honda) keeping a watch - ing brief in third and 1.4 sec- onds behind at the finish.
