Quite The Future Awaits
In 1978, a young Freddie Spencer was
honored by the AMA for winning the
Novice 250 Road Racing Championship.
That year, Spencer competed on Erv
Kanemoto-built Yamahas. Spencer, a
three-time road race World Champion,
was inducted into the AMA Motorcycle
Hall of Fame in 1999.
