It's not what we wanted, but I'm happy to still be on the podium." Mikkel Haarup led the Tri - umph charge to fourth overall while scoring his first moto podium with a third in moto two. "Another great weekend," Haarup said. "I felt good on the track all day. I had two solid starts—my intensity was very good early on. I was fourth in second apart at the line. Race two again saw Shimoda up front as he stalked Martin in the opening laps. He made his bid for the lead but ultimately forfeited the spot once his rear brake started to fade. This hindered his downhill speed and dropped him back to fourth in the race. Another podium keeps Shimoda securely in sec - ond for the championship hunt. "After I got into the lead, my rear brake was just totally gone," Shimoda said. "I couldn't do or three years [with injuries], but everyone stuck behind me. To do this in front of my family, friends and this home crowd, it's just a dream come true." Shimoda finished third overall for his second podium visit in two weeks. The Honda HRC Progressive rider led laps in both motos and battled with the front-runners all day. Moto one saw him overtake Deegan late in the race as the two battled all the way to the checkers, finishing less than a Shimoda (30) battled up front in both 250MX motos and earned third overall.
