round in Exeter, Rhode Island,
July 11-13, Next Gen MotoTri

als made history by showcas-
ing youth riders alongside the
world's best for the first time.
With the goal of demonstrating
the value of integrating youth-fo

cused programming into global
events, Next Gen MotoTrials de-
livered a memorable experience
that resonated with families,
fans and even the FIM officials.
Five competition sections,
designed for different skill lev

els—from Strider to NATC Expert
Sportsman—were arranged next
to the official TrialGP practice
area, allowing spectators and
pro riders alike the chance to
witness the future of the sport
up close. Twenty-five youth rid

ers took part, including several
first-timers inspired to try Moto-
Trials in this elite setting.
In the top Expert Sportsman
class, five riders competed in a
tight field. Beta USA's Bennett
Hubner and Kole Swartz both
delivered perfect, clean rides,
forcing a dramatic tie-breaker
ride-off. With steady precision,
Hubner edged out Swartz to
earn the overall win. Meanwhile,
Thomas Keady and Trial Store
USA's Preston Blumhorst tied
for third, each finishing with 11
points and four clean rides.
The weather was ideal, with
clear skies and dry conditions
offering excellent traction for
all competitors. Beyond results,
the day highlighted the power
of youth engagement—giving
young athletes the chance to
ride in front of large crowds and
alongside their TrialGP heroes.
Next Gen MotoTrials, a 501(c)
(3) nonprofit, was founded to
support and elevate the next
generation of trials talent. Their
presence at Exeter marked a sig

nificant step forward—one that
may help shape the future of
youth trials on the world stage.
