marks his first podium of the 2025 season, his last coming at Unadilla one year ago. "I was riding the best I ever had before my [Achilles] injury," Swoll said. "To be on the podium this soon is incredible. I felt that I unlocked a new level of speed in the off-season, and it is nice to see it pay off. I knew when I got closer to 100 per - cent, I could be up here, I just didn't expect to be able to run up front at around 80 percent. My fitness still isn't there. I'm digging the deepest I've ever dug just to fin - ish these motos." Michael Mosiman completed the box with his first podium of the season. The Monster Energy Star Racing Yamaha rider strung together a consistent pair of fourths to earn third overall. Mosiman has had the speed all summer long, but small mistakes or crashes have made his results on paper nothing to write home about. Once again, the number 93 ran as high as second in both 250MX motos before slotting into fourth each time. Mosi - man is currently on an upward trend, finishing fourth at South- wick and third at RedBud. He's currently sixth in the season standings. "It was a good race," Mosiman said. "It's been three years since I've raced here. I felt pretty good is fresh off an Achilles tear, which he sustained just before the Supercross season, and is racing his way back into shape after making his 2025 debut at High Point's round four. Swoll holeshot the second moto and led the first four laps of the race before settling into a podium pace. He battled Vialle for sec - ond but eventually lost the spot to Deegan with two laps to go. With Deegan essentially out of the overall rankings, Swoll's third earned him second overall in his third showing of the year. This moda showed promise at round one, but this double victory marks his best performance of the summer. It's also his first outdoor win since Ironman (Indiana) in 2023 and his first with the Honda HRC outfit. While Deegan suffered his share of struggles with a hard crash in qualifying (injuring his leg), a bad start and a couple of get-offs in moto one, Shimoda scored maximum points and is now 38 points back in second place. "I needed those starts," Shimoda said. "My riding hasn't been bad; I just needed starts. We tried some new mapping on the bike for the starts, and it worked out. This is such a big confidence booster." Deegan bounced back with a second in moto two despite another bad start and another tip-over. "I was a little beat up [going into the second moto]," Deegan said. "The track was rough, and the pain was gnarly going through all those bumps. It is what it is. On days like this, we need to recover through the races and try our best." Deegan finished out the day fifth overall with a 14-2 but still enjoys a comfortable points lead over Shimoda, 274-236. Jalek Swoll also had his breakout ride of the summer with a second-place result. The Triumph Factory Racing pilot ROUND 6 / JULY 5, 2025 REDBUD MX / BUCHANAN, MICHIGAN MOTOCROSS I AMA PRO MOTOCROSS / SUPERMOTOCROSS WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP P78 Jalek Swoll landed on the box in just his third 250MX race back from injury.
