The situation arose after Marc's lightning start saw him attack Quartararo around the outsider into turn one, jumping Bagnaia and Alex along the way. He was past the Yamaha at the GT chicane, and from there he was almost immediately on the defensive. Alex and Bezzecchi were also by the Yamaha by the end of lap two. Such was the younger sibling's superiority through turns 10, 11 and 12, there were times when he almost tailgated the factory Ducati ahead. Yet at no point did an attempted pass come. he was seventh. Back of the lead fight, Raul Fernandez (Trackhouse Aprilia) posted another strong perfor- mance with an eighth, praising the changes at the post-race Aragon test, which gave him added front feel. Enea Bastian- ini was three seconds back in ninth, leading Quartararo, Brad Binder (Red Bull KTM), Johann Zarco (LCR Honda) and Alex Rins (Monster Energy Yamaha) in close formation at the flag. Marc (307 points) now has serious breathing space in the Championship, 68 clear of Alex ROUND 10 / JUNE 27-29, 2025 TT CIRCUIT ASSEN / ASSEN, THE NETHERLANDS ROAD RACE I FIM MOTOGP WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP P86 Fabio Quartararo was fast in qualifying but struggled in the races.
