"Fast" Freddie Spencer leads the
AMA GNC/Winston Pro Series Road
Race round at Laguna Seca in 1982.
Spencer might have been the fastest
that weekend, but after winning
Saturday's race, the cylinder head let
go in his Honda NS500 while he was
leading Sunday's race two, and he
was forced to withdraw.
