"It's kind of the same situation
as last year—just need to keep
building," Shimoda said. "My
fitness has been good, and my
speed is okay, but I need better
starts. I think the riding is there."
Mikkel Haarup had his best
finish of the season, with a sixth
ahead of a trio of Kawasakis,
which included Garrett March-
banks, Seth Hammaker and
Ty Masterpool. Jordon
Smith
completed the top 10.

"That's four third-place finishes
in a row now, so I'm just trying
to keep building. In the second
moto, I felt a lot better, but I
cramped up pretty bad a few
laps in. I need to get some things
figured out with my nutrition and
recovery, eating better and stay
-
ing on top of it. But aside from
that, it
was a solid day."
Mosiman battled with Kitchen
most of the day and earned
his best result of the season
with fourth overall. Jo Shimoda
finished second in the second
moto on the toughest track of
the day. Unfortunately for the
Honda rider, a 10th in race one
put him fifth overall.
