overall. Justin Barcia returned to action in ninth, with Malcolm Stewart rounding out the top 10. 250MX Haiden Deegan once again dominated Saturday's racing with an impressive 1-1 perfor- mance. With his closest rival, Chance Hymas, out with a knee injury, the defending champion was pretty much in a league of his own. To put it in perspective, Deegan's qualifying time was a full two seconds faster than anyone else on track, and his best lap in moto one was three seconds faster than second place. The number-one rider went uncontested all day, secur- eating a lot of roost and had my work cut out for me. I ran out of tear-offs in moto two, so I had to do a little bit of goggle wiping, but the day went well. My riding was good. I just needed to be closer to the front, obviously, to be in the battle for the podium." "I was P5 overall today at Southwick, which is definitely a little bit better," Prado said.
