Super Hooligans Saddlemen Race Develop- ment's Jake Lewis shrugged off the mandated 38-pound weight gain on his Harley-Davidson Pan America to win Saturday's Mis - sion Super Hooligans National Championship race, leading every lap as the Kentuckian claimed victory. At the finish line, Lewis took the victory over KWR Harley-Da - vidson's James Rispoli (with his Pan America carrying an extra Knebel won race two on Sun- day morning by 33.9 seconds over Conrad, but that lead was deceptive. Yesterday's podium finishers MacGregor and Cain were battling over second place, both within touch of Knebel, when MacGregor divebombed Cain going into the Waterfall section of the track, ran wide and crashed, taking Cain with her. The third and final race fea - tured a back-and-forth battle between Knebel and Cain, with the two rarely separated by more than half a second. With four laps to go, however, Knebel dropped the hammer and was able to get clear of Cain to make it a clean sweep two seconds clear of R2R Cana - da/Economy Lube+Tire Racing's Mavrick Cyr in fourth and Cyr rounding out the top five. After three rounds and six races, Di Mario has a 53-point lead over Chapin, 135-82. Dreher is third with 72 points, just one point more than Doyle. Royal Enfield. Build. Train.Race. Kira Knebel won Saturday's Royal Enfield battle, topping Shea MacGregor by 7.5 seconds, with polesitter Miranda Cain a shadow in third and just 0.071 of a second behind MacGregor, who made a last-lap pass on Cain after a race-long battle. The win was Knebel's third of the season, and it came after a crash in practice left her with a badly battered motorcycle. The top three were 26 sec - onds clear of fourth-placed Kate West, who in turn had 6.9 seconds on Camille Conrad.
