Levi Kitchen rounded out the
box with his fourth podium in
four rounds. The Monster Energy
Pro Circuit Kawasaki rider found
himself in a battle for the entirety
of both motos. A second in race
one would be the highlight result
of the day, but his fight in race
two showed his true effort. After
starting second, he hit a mid-
race slump and dropped off the
podium but remounted a charge
late in the race and traded spots
with Michael Mosiman. A fourth
in race two kept his overall hopes
alive as he tied in overall points
with Vialle and claimed third on
the day.
"I had decent starts in both
motos and made some quick
passes early on," Kitchen said.
for third on the final lap. Vialle
again pushed through the field
in moto two. After starting back
in fifth, he crossed the line in
third and earned points for his
consistency. He sits third in the
championship standings.
"I made it tough on myself in
moto one," Vialle said. "I was in
third and then tried to make a
quick pass on the first lap, but I
fell. Crashing on the first lap loses
you a lot of positions, so I think I
remounted in 12th or 13th. I had a
tough race from there, came back
to P3, and I felt like my speed was
really good, but I used a lot of
energy. Second moto, good start,
and I passed a couple of guys,
but I was tired from the first moto

ing two holeshots, leading every
lap, and winning two motos. He
now leads by 58 points, more
than two full motos, over Jo
Shimoda in second place.
"I really just came out and rode
like how I have been," Deegan
said. "Nothing special to it today.
I've been training hard, doing
what I do, and evidently, I was
pretty good in the sand today."
Tom Vialle was a man on the
move as he secured second
overall. The Red Bull KTM rider
often finds success in the sand,
but a fall while running third in
moto one set him back to 10th
position. He mounted a charge,
setting his fastest lap of the
race while navigating through
traffic, and eventually passed
