ing with his usual three-second
lead and controlling the gap
from the front, the number 18
dominated the field by double-
digit margins in each moto.
Another flawless day earns
Lawrence maximum points and
keeps his streak of winning
every overall this season alive.
He now also ties James Stewart
for overall wins.
"I didn't worry too much about
managing the gap, and I just had
a good flow," Lawrence said. "In

Jett Lawrence is continuing
his championship streak with
another overall victory. The
Honda HRC rider led every lap
of both motos for a perfect
day in the sand. Despite being
called the roughest track on the
circuit, Lawrence made it look

107 MIKKEL HAARUP
6TH (5-6) 250MX
Mikkel Haarup had his best show-
ing of the summer by finishing sixth
overall. "The team did a great job with
the bike today. The first moto was
good—I battled for a position in the top
three and eventually took a season-
best finish of fifth. There was some
bar banging on the start straight in
moto two, which forced me to let off a
little bit. Things started clicking at the
halfway point, and I eventually made
my way to sixth. I took advantage of
some other riders getting tired."
24 RJ HAMPSHIRE
6TH (8-4) 450MX
RJ Hampshire had his best moto fin-
ish of the year and finished sixth over-
all. "A first-turn pile-up in moto one
had me in pretty much last place,"
Hampshire said. "We were strong all
race to come back to eighth, and I
knew all I needed was a better start
for the second one. We got that and
plugged away from there on a tough
track, and it feels good to get my first
top-five moto score with P4 in that
one."
