Hymas Out With Injury H onda HRC's Chance Hymas will miss the remaining rounds of the outdoor Pro Motocross Championship after undergoing knee surgery. Hymas tore the ACL in his right knee during the second 250MX moto at High Point. He also suffered a slight sprain to his medial collateral ligament (MCL) and a minor contusion to his meniscus. Hymas re - cently recovered from two ACL injuries and surgeries on his left knee. Hymas is currently third in the championship. "It's definitely a bummer— gut-wrenching," Hymas said via social media. "It's been a couple of hard days for me, try - ing to just process it. But now I'm looking forward to getting this thing fixed and coming back next year strong." Honda recently confirmed that he will be back with the team in 2026. CN VOLUME ISSUE JUNE , P25 Chance Hymas will be sidelined for the rest of the year with a knee injury. Dovizioso Joins Yamaha Racing Y amaha announced that Andrea Dovizioso has signed a three-year agreement with Yamaha Factory Racing MotoGP, taking on the dual roles of test rider and Rider Performance Advisor. The Italian MotoGP Hall of Famer will play a crucial role in speeding up the development of Yamaha's MotoGP machine and improving communication flow between Yamaha's four MotoGP riders and its engineering team. Dovizioso has previously contributed to Yamaha's MotoGP efforts and is widely recognized for his clarity in providing de - tailed and actionable feedback. In his role as a test rider, Dovizio- so will take part in private testing sessions outside of the Grand Prix calendar, directly contribut - ing to Yamaha's prototype development. Additionally, he will assume the newly created position of Rider Performance Advisor, which is designed to enhance communication channels be - tween riders and engineers by assisting Yamaha's full-time MotoGP roster in analyzing and conveying performance data. "I'm really happy to officially announce this new connection with Yamaha," he said. "I know it represents an important step in a relationship built on mutual trust and respect. "My goal will be to create strong synergy between riders, team and crew, drawing on my experience both on track and in - side the garage," Dovizioso said. Managing Director, Yamaha Motor Racing, Paolo Pavesio said, "Besides him signing on as test rider, which we believe is instrumental to our MotoGP bike development program."
