the box by just one point.
Round-three winner, Chance
Hymas, finished fourth overall.
He looked strong in moto two,
but his fall on the final half-lap
saw him come across the line
favoring his right knee, which
is not the knee he injured last
season.
"It was a rough day for me
at High Point," Hymas said. "I
went 5-3 in the motos, but on
the last lap of the second moto,
I dabbed my good leg, and now
I'm dealing with a lot of pain in
my right knee. I'll be seeing the
doctor Monday to get it checked
out and figure out a game plan
from there."
Garrett Marchbanks rounded
out the top five. "I made my way
through the pack once again,"
Marchbanks said. "This is the
eighth time I've come from 20th
or further back to get into the
top 10."
Jo Shimoda, Seth Hammaker,
Casey Cochran, Nate Thrasher
and Jalek Swoll completed the
top 10 overall running order.
