In moto one, Lawrence started up front on the factory-backed Honda, while Tomac got shuffled back to 10th place after a decent jump off the gate. Lawrence looked comfortable in the lead but stalled the bike on lap six and dropped down to third place behind his brother, Hunter, and new leader Aaron Plessinger. "The bike stalled, and it's not ideal, but 'let's start the bike up again, see where we're at,' and re - group from there and get back on the lines I was taking," Lawrence said. Unfortunately, at High Point, the two never had the opportunity to go toe-to-toe, as neither rider started close to each other in either moto. MORRIS, PENNSYLVANIA MOTOCROSS I AMA PRO MOTOCROSS / SUPERMOTOCROSS WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP P72 22 JALEK SWOLL 10TH (14-8) 250MX Jalek Swoll returned to action with a top 10 result. "We came here to High Point without any set expectations, so I'm happy with how things have gone today. I faded in the first moto a little but was able to see the boys' pace up front, which gives us a good idea of where we're at. Second moto, I was able to hang in there for eighth, which is a good start. Obviously, I want more." 41 NATE THRASHER 9TH (10-10) 250MX Nate Thrasher ran up front in moto one before scoring a pair of 10ths for ninth overall. "It was a lot better day for me. I got two good starts, a holeshot in the first one. I was in second for a while, but I just wasn't quite comfortable with that pace and got a little tired, a little tight, and kind of dropped back. In the second moto, I came out well again after the start, got into the lead, and then cased that wall double and went back a couple of positions. The middle part of the MYOWNRACE Lawrence chases leader Aaron Plessinger (7) after stalling his bike in the first moto.
