Track Series returned to Ohio,
visiting Harpster's Triangle Mo

torcycle Club on June 13-14 for
rounds five and six. This event
offered an early preview of next
month's AMA Flat Track Grand
Championships, with Bodie
Paige taking full advantage of
his return to dirt track.
The rider from Queensland,
Australia, stood out as the best
in the Open Amateur and 450
Amateur Divisions. Rain short
-
ened the events on the first day,
granting Paige victories based
on heat race results. However,
on the second day, no amount of
restarts or challenges from fel
-
low Australian and MotoAmerica
Talent Cup rival Sam Drane
could slow Paige down.
The 450 Amateur main event
on Saturday was the closest
Drane would come to disrupting
Paige. The two exchanged the
lead several times throughout
the event, ultimately seeing
Paige victorious by just over half
a second.
Doug Davis joined Paige in en

joying a perfect weekend, com-
pleting a sweep of the 50+ and
60+ classes. Greg Boyle won
both 40+ main events during
the weekend, while Tony Pear-
son and Kyle Snyder achieved
triumphs in the 30+ class.
