second. Bagnaia's (140) crucial podium keeps him third. MOTO2 The outside line around Ara- gon's stunning final left-hander isn't a regular place for overtak- ing. But Deniz Oncu (Red Bull KTM Ajo Kalex) proved he is no ordinary rider, as he pipped Diogo Moreira (Italtrans Kalex) to victory by riding around the Brazilian's outside on the run to the finish line. Just three- thousandths of a second was the margin, the closest finish in Moto2 history. This race had been billed as one of tire conservation. Yet Barry Baltus (Fantic Kalex), Oncu, polesitter Moreira and Aron Canet (Fantic Kalex) showed total disregard by forg - ing a ferocious pace out front that few could live with. Back in third on lap seven, Oncu leapt ahead of Canet on lap eight then Baltus on lap 13. With two to go, his lead over Moreira was seven-tenths of a second. Yet the Brazilian's late speed was frightening, as his personal best lap was a full half second quicker than the leader on the penultimate circuit. He took control at turn five and all appeared lost for Oncu. Yet an inspired run through the final turn was enough for a maiden Moto2 win. How did he do it? "Big balls," came his response. Senna Agius (IntactGP Kalex) rode calmly and consistently to climb to pass the flailing Canet three laps from the flag to clinch an impressive fourth. Manuel Gonzalez (IntactGP Kalex) recovered well from 18th to eighth after crashing out at the start of qualifying. Both he and Canet are tied at the cham - pionship summit on 118 points. MOTO3 He may have a list of misdemean- ors as long as his arm, but there is no doubting David Munoz's (IntactGP KTM) talent. Moto3's bad boy finally has a World Cham - pionship victory to savor after a beautiful last-corner move on Max Quiles (Aspar KTM). ROUND 8 / JUNE 6-8, 2025 MOTORLAND ARAGON / ALCANIZ, SPAIN ROAD RACE I FIM MOTOGP WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP P92 Deniz Oncu (53) goes the long way around Moreira for a first GP win in Moto2.
