a thrilling final-lap charge in
the shortened two-lap Monster
Energy Supersport Race.
Riding the Milwaukee MD Rac
-
ing Ducati, Dunlop overhauled
Dean Harrison to win by 10.2
seconds, marking Ducati's first
TT win since Robert Holden's
Singles TT win in 1995 and Dun
-
lop's seventh win with a different
manufacturer.
Harrison led for most of the
race, building a 7.4-second lead
after the opening lap. But Dun
-
lop began reeling him in after
the pit stops, setting multiple
sector records. He took the lead
by Ballaugh on the final lap and
never looked back, clocking a
final-lap speed of 130.313 mph.
James Hillier (Bournemouth
Kawasaki) took third—his first
podium since 2019—finishing
comfortably ahead of Davey
Todd (Padgetts Honda) and
Josh Brookes (Jackson Honda)
in fourth and fifth.
The Sidecar TT looks like
it'll be another Crowe brothers
benefit, as the local Manxmen
decimated the field in the open
-
ing race.
In perfect conditions, the
shortened two-lap Sidecar TT
began with the Crowe brothers
dominating from the start. They
led through Glen Helen with
an 11.3-second gap, extend
-
ing their lead to 25 seconds by
Ramsey, breaking multiple sec-
tor records and clocking a final
lap of 121.021 mph, securing a
commanding win by 1 minute
17 seconds and a new outright
sidecar lap record.
Behind them, Birchall/Rosney
secured second with their fastest
lap of the week (116.713 mph),
ahead of Crawford/Hardie, who
earned a maiden podium. Black
-
stock/Lawrence were in early
contention but dropped out of the
fight after a stop on lap two.
Ellis/Clement finished fourth,
while Clarke/Johnson claimed
fifth, with Clarke becoming the
fastest newcomer sidecar driver.
The action continues for the
2025 TT with the opening Su
-
perstock and Supertwin TTs on
Tuesday, June 3, and concludes
with the Senior TT on Sunday,
June 7. For daily updates on the
