Motocross in Herman, Nebraska... We
also had coverage of the Kentucky MX National that was
held a week earlier. Kent Howerton was the winner... We had an
interview with rising star Teuvo Lansivuori, who finished third at
the Daytona 200 earlier in the year and also won the 250cc class
in his first GP... We tested the Bultaco 360 Frontera.

Mauna Kea 200, a two-day enduro in Hawaii,
40 years ago. We featured one of the
competitors on the cover. John DeSoto was
the winner... Terry Poovey led the way at the
Louisville Half-Mile... We had coverage of the Six Flags Over
Georgia National Motocross in Atlanta, where Ron Lechien,
Je Ward and David Bailey took the class wins... Dave
Bertram headed a Husqvarna sweep of the podium,
alongside Terry Cunningham and Je Irwin, at the 100-
mile Oregon National Enduro in the Tillamook Forest.
