lap three. Regardless, Deegan
seems head and shoulders above
the competition, and this type of
ride on a hot day proves he is the
man to beat. He's now four for

"I knew it was going to be hot;
it was a sufferfest out there,"
Deegan said. "Those last few
laps of the moto were all mental
for me. I had to go into that dark
