VOLUME ISSUE MAY , P29 Assen To Host MXoN in 2027 T he 2027 Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations will be held at the "Cathedral of Speed," the legendary TT Circuit Assen motorsports venue in the Dren- the region of the Netherlands. The announcement was made during a special press confer- ence at the MXGP of France in Ernee on Saturday, May 24. Infront Moto Racing CEO David Luongo, FIM / CMS Director Antonio Alia, K.N.M.V Director Wim Mulder, and 2027 Monster Energy FIM MXoN Organizer Lee Van Dam and Theo Verdegem gathered to reveal the return of the MXoN to Dutch soil for the 10th time. "We are proud to bring the Monster Energy Motocross of Nations back to Assen in 2027," Luongo said. "The previous edi - tion at this legendary venue left a lasting impression on fans and teams alike, and the Netherlands has always played a key role in the history of our sport. Hosting the 80th edition of this iconic event at such an iconic circuit is the perfect combination. Togeth - er with the FIM, the K.N.M.V. and the local organizers, we are fully committed to delivering another world-class celebration of moto - cross that will honor the legacy and the future of the MXoN." CN Hahn Returns To Star Racing W il Hahn has returned as the team general manager for the Monster Energy Star Racing Yamaha 250cc squad. Hahn managed the team from 2017-21, accumulating seven 250cc class titles in Supercross and moto- cross. He will also oversee the team's three- rider amateur program. "I'm really stoked to return to managing the Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing 250 team," Hahn said. "It's been a great homecom- ing. We have so much talent here and have a great training setup at The Farm. I look forward to winning more championships." Team Manager Jensen Handler said, "I think it will be very good to have Wil here to manage the riders. There's a lot involved in the day-to-day operations of a team this size, and to have him here to focus on organizing their training and racing will help make the team even better than we already are." CN Wil Hahn (left) has returned to the Monster Energy Star Racing Yamaha Team as the 250 team's general manager. He'll be working alongside Team Manager Jensen Handler (right). The 80th edition of the Motocross of Nations will be held in Assen in 2027.
