turned back the clock as he
topped the timesheets in Super-
pole qualifying for the first time

2019. The former World
Champion ended up third after
the completion of the 19-lap
race one.
Out front, the final battle was
between eventual (and first-time)
race winner Jaume Masia (Orelac
Racing VerdNatura Ducati), who
pounced on Can Oncu (Yamaha
bLU cRU Evan Bros Racing) going
into the first of the two right-
Garrett Gerloff (Kawasaki
WorldSBK Team) experienced
his best weekend of what has
been a challenging 2025 season
so far, finishing 11th, 12th and
10th in the three races.
"I am understanding the bike
more, I am feeling more com-
fortable with it, and we keep
discovering
all kinds of stuff," he
said after Sunday's race two. "I
went to a different map today,
and it just made the bike so
much better, immediately. It is
things like that we are learning
as a team, and it will take time,
but we are going in a good direc-
tion. I am excited for the Misano
test coming
up soon. Maybe
I can try some more stuff and
make more progress."
