Bou Dominates Again
A
fter topping both days in
Motegi, Japan, Repsol Honda's
Toni Bou extended his win streak
to three in the 2025 FIM TrialGP
World Championship. Bou won
all four "races" (two each day),
extending his lead in the champi-
onship to 28 points, 200-172, over
rival Jaime Busto, of the GasGas
Factory Team.
On Saturday, the top three posi-
tions were the same after both
races, with Bou winning and Busto
taking second, and Bou's team-
mate Gabriel Marcelli finishing
third.
"There's always a lot of pres-
sure and nerves because we're
at Honda's 'home,' so getting a
double win today is incredible,"
said Bou, who, along with Marcelli,
competes on Honda-owned Mon
-
tesa Cota 4RT motorcycles.
Bou again dominated the
competition on a rainy and muddy
Sunday, with Marcelli and Busto
swapping second place on the
day.
"It was a very tough trial, and I
struggled at times, but I also had a
great time," Bou said. "Winning at
Honda's home is always very spe-
cial, and having such a complete
weekend is even more so."
In both races, Busto and Marcelli
battled for second. Busto edged out
Marcelli in the first race, and just
one point separated Marcelli from
Busto in the second.
Bou leads the championship with
241 points to Busto's 204. Marcelli
is third on 176, followed by Beta's
Matteo Grattarola on 151 and
TRRS's Aniol Gelabert on 137.
