The second important
WorldSBK arm-wrestle of the
weekend, the Tissot Superpole
race, was a 10-lap sort-out that
saw Razgatlioglu temporarily but
firmly held up for a short time by
Petrucci. Toprak passed Petrucci
hard before early leader Bulega
could reach full escape velocity.
The two big beasts of World-
SBK 2025 then traded passing
punches and cornering jabs until
trucci, with Alex Lowes beating
Sam Lowes (Elf Marc VDS Racing
Team). Bautista made astound

ing progress from 15th on lap
one, ending
up fifth—the red meat
inside the Lowes Bros. sandwich.
The bimota BbKRT squad and

ing fourth, albeit 14.8 seconds
behind
the race winner.
Bulega and Razgatlioglu
pushed on at the front, with
Danilo Petrucci (Barni Spark
Racing Team) in third and Alex
Lowes (bimota by Kawasaki
Racing Team) in fourth.
Razgatlioglu broke the lap
record not once but twice in
succession, with a 1:31.109 go
