The Blazing Saddles 100 Hare & Hound
National started with a wide-open sprint
down a flat, fast and dusty dry lakebed
before turning onto trails with technical
rocks, flowing sand washes, choppy
virgin runs across fields of sagebrush
with high winds. This part of northern
Nevada's Black Rock Desert isn't far
from the Burning Man festival site.
