Fly Racing's new Maverik LT MX boots feature
a pre-shaped plastic shin guard, tough
inner ankle panels, and a textured shifter
pad on the toe. The backs of the boots are
articulated at the ankles for ease of shifting
and braking, while the inner sides are lined
with rubber heat shields that also offer grip
to the bike. Gaiters help keep out dirt, and
the adjustable quick-lock buckles resist
clogging from mud and dirt.

The EVS Mini Slam Combo kit is for
younger, smaller riders and offers savings
over purchasing each item separately. The
kit comes with an R2 Race collar and a
pair each of the EVS Option elbow guards
and Option knee/shin guards. The guards
have reinforced hard-molded protection
and a breathable bio-foam liner. They
secure on with adjustable hook-and-loop
X-straps. The R2 Race collar—which can
connect to most roost deflectors—has a
removable, washable liner and an easy-
to-use front entry system.
