After narrowly losing the main
event one week ago in Pitts-
burgh, Chase Sexton needed to
bounce back with a win against
points leader Cooper Webb.
Maximum points for Sexton
ensure his chance at the cham

pionship, and the KTM rider
did just that as he rebounded
with another dub. He stalked
Webb for the first three laps of
the main event and pounced
with an aggressive pass just
before the finish line. The two
rivals made contact but stayed
upright as Webb conceded the
lead to Sexton.
"He [Webb] crossed on me
pretty hard on the start, almost
took me out," Sexton said. "I
was kind of seeing red after
that. Yeah, I made an aggres

sive move, but I kind of have to.
