The defending champ, Vialle,
finally got his first win of the
season, and it couldn't have
come at a better time. He
started up front behind Nate
Thrasher and stalked the early
leader for the first 16 laps of the
main event. Vialle waited for the
right time to strike and made his
move with only four laps left.
He held on for the win, marking
the third of his career and the
first in 2025 and making him
the seventh different winner this
season, a number that has never
been reached in the 250SX Re-
gional Championship. While the
win
is important, the fact that
his rivals both finished off the
podium allowed Vialle to score
maximum points and take over
the points lead. He now leads by
just one point over Hammaker
with one round remaining.
"That one was very impor-
tant," Vialle said. "I feel like I had
to
win to have a chance at the
championship in Salt Lake. I had
a rough start to the day with a
pretty big crash in practice, and
I hit my head pretty hard. Nate
was good through the whoops—
he was skimming them—and I
think he was a little bit faster
there. But I was catching him
in a few other sections of the
track, so it was hard to get close
to him. I feel like I was getting
better in the whoops, so the gap
was getting closer every lap. I
felt great in the last five laps,
and I could make the pass."
Thrasher held on for second.
The Monster Energy Star Rac-
ing Yamaha rider grabbed the
holeshot and
led 80 percent of
the race, spending 16 laps at the
front of the field. He handled the
pressure well, but an aggres-
sive pass by Vialle knocked the
