route to another victory and be-
came the first repeat winner on
the East Coast. He moved to the
lead on lap one and saved a few
close calls through the whoops
in the opening laps, but kept it
upright. Hammaker stayed con-
sistent and kept Hampshire at
bay to take the win by under five
seconds. As the only two-time
winner, he now solely controls
Malcolm Stewart finished
sixth, just ahead of Ken Roczen
in seventh, the last rider to finish
on the same lap as the leaders.
Shane McElrath, Dean Wilson
and Justin Hill completed the
top 10.

the year, so I didn't know what

and that was way shorter than
the main, so I knew I was going

main. I felt like I rode well; it
was just nothing flashy. I didn't
have any sprint in the main, and
I couldn't muster any energy for
that last podium spot, which
was unfortunate."
