tion that effectively learns how
you're riding and adjusts their
inputs in a predictive way.
The DVO system integrates
with the six-axis IMU to analyze
the bike's behavior based on your
riding style and the forces acting
on it. With over 70 sensors on the
bike, it enhances the precision
of traction, slide, and wheelie-
control interventions.
Unlike traditional systems,
where traction, slide, and wheelie
control operate with fixed param-
eters, the DVO system continu-
ously adjusts these settings in
real-time. It dynamically responds
to
your grip and riding intensity,
with the ECU constantly calculat-
ing/predicting the optimal bal-
ance to keep you in the ideal per-
formance zone, which is a good
thing when
you're busy trying to
hang onto the bloody thing.
You'll be glad for that DVO
system when you crank the
(Below) There's well over
90 percent of the Panigale
in this Streetfighter. Pretty
much the only difference
is the lack of fairing and a
slight rake angle change of
0.5 degrees. (Bottom left)
Those wings just make
this bike look so damn
nasty. And they work to
the tune of 99 pounds of
extra downforce at 160
mph. (Bottom right) It's
kind of funny when an
engine that produces over
200 horsepower is not
the main talking point of
a bike, but that's the case
with the Streetfighter. New
Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) 2.0
system makes for slightly
smoother gear changes.
