The 93 of Marc
Marquez continued
his decimation
of the field, this
time under lights
in Qatar. But the
number 12 of
Vinales was an
unexpected star of
the show.
AND
MAVERICK
Spaniard barged his way to the front of the Sun-
day GP and even looked on course for the most
unlikely of wins in just his fourth ride on the
KTM. He would eventually succumb to the late
race pressure from Marquez, coming across the
line second in a season that has seen his 2025
results go from 16th, to 12th, to 14th, to second.
That was until MotoGP's most hated rule
reared its ugly head, with the FIM MotoGP Stew
-
ards confirming post-race that Vinales' front tire
pressure was below the legal minimum for more
than 60 percent of the race.
