I saw the green 56 [Hammaker] come up the side of me once, and I said, 'Okay, we've got to hold onto this and grind this one out.' Literally, this was the tough - est main event I had to do, both physically and mentally." Hammaker finished a close fourth behind Hampshire and kept his tie for the red plate. "I got another decent start on the restart," said Hammaker. "I was second behind RJ, but I didn't ride the best during the main event. I made a few mistakes, and I was strug - gling to find the flow. I felt like I RJ Hampshire (24) led in the 250SX main early on but eventually finished third.
