P52
rounded out the top five on his
Sherco.
Bou leaves round one with the
championship lead over Busto,
77-67. Marcelli is third with 62
points, followed by Grattarola
with 50 and Gelabert with 47.
"It's been a positive weekend
for us," Bou said. "We're leaving
here with a 10-point lead in the
standings, which is the most
important thing. We missed
out on winning the second race
due to me making a few more
mistakes. We already know what
the new regulations are like,
and we have to learn to adapt to
these more risky circumstances.
We can take away the consis
-
tency from the first race, which
was practically perfect, and the
comeback from the second, as
we started quite far behind in
the early sections. It'll be a tough
year, but we're leaving here
happy."
"Today started much better
than yesterday," said Busto.
"I was feeling much more like
myself, and I was able to put
two good races together. My win
in race two is very good for the
championship, and I'm looking
forward to Portugal."
