main event, 'Dude, I might be
on the third row, but you fix the
problems that I'm having, and
it's a guaranteed win,' " Saathoff
said. "I never think like that; I'm
very humble about that type of
stuff. But I definitely did let the
dog off the leash in the main.
The race was fun. I came from
the back, and I got it done. It
was an awesome day. Well, the
end of the day was awesome.
Now I'm stoked to go to the
next round."
It did the same for 1st Impres
-
sions Husqvarna's Evan Ren-
shaw, who climbed from 12th
to third to claim his first-career
Progressive AFT podium.
"I figured starting on the third
row, I'd have to fight, and that's
what I did," Renshaw said. "I
was just putting on my laps
riding hard, and that high line
was working for me. I feel like
I stepped it up, especially from
qualifying earlier today. I feel so
good. I feel very relieved. Like,
it's hard to explain. I'm stoked.
Hopefully, we can keep it rolling
from here. I worked hard to get
here, so let's keep it rolling."
Fourth went to FRA Trust
Advisors' Aidan RoosEvans,
who matched his career-best
finish taken at this same track
one year ago (the two- and
four-wheel dirt tracker feeling
very much at home at Senoia
Raceway), while Turner Racing
American Honda's Trevor Brun
-
ner completed the top five.
